If there are malfunctions in the
brake system or if you think that
there are malfunctions in the brake
system, immediately contact the
JAC authorized after-service ce
-nters for checking. It is very
hazardous to drive a car with malfu
-nctions in its brake system. It
may cause severe accidents or
even death.
Parking brake
The parking brake operation can be
made possible by using the parking
brake lever. When parking your car,
you need only to pull upward the lever
tightly.
For the models with manual trans
-mission, when parking on a slope,
you need to pull upward the handle to
the desired position and then shift to
D1. For the models with automatic
transmission, you should shift to P.
To avoid starting your car by accident
The service brake system is designed
to contain a dual-line structure. When
one line is damaged, the other can still
function normally. You need to apply a
relatively large force to the brake pedal
only when it is difficult to carry out the
braking operation in a short distance
with one line working. Unless under
special situation, you need to stop your
car in a safer place and wait for help
from the JAC authorized after-service
centers.
If the brake system alarm lamp comes
on, it means that your car is short of
brake fluid. If the lamp remains on
after adding brake fluid, immediately
drive to the JAC authorized after
-service centers for checking and
repair. If in such case your car can not
be drived normally, you need to get
your car to the JAC authorized
after-service centers by using a trailer
or other safe methods.
