Driving on snowy roads
For a snowy road, it is recommended
that you use snow tires or anti-skid
chains.
When you want to install the snow
chain.please choose the material which
is rubber or beef tendon to avoid the
use of ordinary metal ones.
After installing the snow chain. the
travel speed of J5 vehicle must be
controlled in less them 40 km/h for
safety.
Avoid driving at high speed, sudden
acceleration, emergency brak-ing, and
sudden turning. Applying suddenly the
brake pedal when driving on a snowy
road will cause skidding. It is better for
you to keep a relatively long distance
away from other vehicles to avoid
emergency braking. Engine oil
When the engine oil temperature is
low, the oil will become very viscous.
The very viscous oil will cause the
engine to be hard to get started.
Replace it with winter oil. If you do not
know which kind of oil your car needs,
contact the JAC authorized after
-service centers for details.
Winter driving
Engine coolant
se the specified coolant. Replace or
add the coolant as required. When the
winter begins, check if coolant freezing
point meets your expected temperat
-ure requirement.
Washing fluid
To make sure that windshields or rear
window glass work normally in a cold
environment, you had better use a low
temperature resistance washing fluid
The anti-freezing washing fluid the
water sprayer uses to wash window
glass is available in the JAC authorized
after-service centers andmost auto
parts markets. Never use the engine
coolant or other kinds of anti-freezing
solutions as washing fluid. Or, it may
cause damage to your car.
Battery
A low temperature will reduce the
electric quantity of the battery. This
physical and chemical attributes are
inevitable. That is why a cold battery,
especially when not fully charged, can
supply a weak start current. It is
recommended that you have the
battery checked by personnel author
-ized
by the JAC authorized
after-service centers before the
approach of cold season. If necessary,
charge the battery. It will not only
provide a sufficient start current but
