It is of extreme importance to always
buckle safety belts in a correct manner
when driving to prevent the driver and
passengers from being injured in a
traffic accident.
Safety belt
○ One safety belt must only apply
to one person. Or, it will be
hazardous.
○ Each country has its own
regulations on placing children at
front seat during driving. It is
recommended that you follow the
relevant regulations of your own
country.
○ Never twist the safety belt
when buckling the safety belt.
○ Always check the safety belt
for cuts, ruptures, and deformed
metal components. Replace it if
there are defects.
○ If the safety belt gets dirty,
clean it using a neutral detergent
and warm water. Dry it in the
shade. Never try to bleach or dye
the safety belt. Or, it may affect its
strength and function.
○ If a traffic accident occurs, the
safety belt must not be re-used
even though it looks intact. Repl
-ace it with a new one.
○ To prevent you and passengers
from being accidentally injured, all
passengers must wear safety
belts when driving.
○ When seat backrests are kept
vertical, safety belts will to the
largest extent protect your safety.
If seat backrests are kept tilted,
passengers may be thrown out
from their seats and are injured
when a forward collision accident
takes place.
○ Never try to disassemble or
repair safety belts. Contact the
JAC authorized after-service cen
-ters for details on safety belt
operations. Never use safety belts
for other purposes or make them
damaged by vehicle doors or seat
hinges.
