Braking hoses and lines
Check the appearance of braking
hoses and lines for correct installation,
wear, cuts, corrosion or leakage.
Replace corroded or damaged parts
with new ones.
Brake fluid
Check the fluid level of the brake fluid
reservoir if it is between the scales
MIN and MAX on the reservoir wall.
Use the brake fluid meeting SAEJ1703
DOT4 requirements .
If fuel level is low, check if there
are leaks before filling fuel.
Brake calipers
Check frication plate if they have
reached their wear limit. Check if there
Exhaust pipe, silencer and suspen
-sion bolts
Check exhaust pipes, the silencer and
suspension bolts for loosening or
damage.
Power steering, linkage and dust
boot
Stop your car and turn off the engine.
Check the steering wheel for an
excessive free travel. Check linkages
for torsion or damage. Check dust
boots and ball joints for corrosion,
cracks or damage. Replace damaged
ones.
Parking brake
Check the parking brake system
including lever and cable if they work
normally.

caliper.
AC refrigerant
Check AC lines and connectors for
leaks or damage.
Torque checking
After an initial 5,000km travel, the
torques of the critical portions shall be
checked
by the JAC authorized
after-service centers for correct
torques. After that, the critical torques
shall be checked periodically.
