Check brake fluid level
Brake fluid reservoi
Check the brake fluid in the reservoir
at regular intervals. The brake fluid
level must be kept between the scales
MAX (maximum) and MIN (minimum).
The brake fluid level will slightly lower
due to wear and the automatic
adjustment of brake friction plate
during driving. This phenomenon is
normal.
If the brake fluid level in the reservoir
rapidly lowers in a short time to even
below MIN, it indicates that there is
something wrong with the brake
system seals. If the level of brake fluid
in the reservoir is far too low, the brake
system alarm lamp will come on. In
such case, you need to immediately
contact the JAC authorized after
-service centers for an overhaul of the
brake system.
Replace brake fluid
As the brake fluid can absorb water, it
will therefore absorb more and more
water from the atmosphere following
the time passing by. The brake fluid
with large water content will cause the
brake system to get corroded. In
addition, the brake fluid boiling point
will
rapidly fall. Therefore, it's
necessary to replace the brake fluid at
regular intervals.
At the replacement of brake fluid, only
use the new, unused and genuine JAC
brake fluid (Contact the JAC authorized
after-service centers for details)
Due to the technical factors, the
special tools and relevant technical
know-how
are needed for the
replacement of the brake fluid. It is
therefore strongly recommended to
have the brake fluid replaced by the
JAC authorized after-service centers.
