Fuel
Fuel filling
When the pre-set automatically
fuel gun stops working, it means that
your fuel tank is full. No more fuel is
needed. Or, the inflation space in the
fuel tank will be filled with fuel and the
fuel will over-flow once heated.
After filling is completed, you need to
turn the tank cap to its rated torque
and then cover its cover board. Make
sure the cover board is firmly locked.
The tank filler is in the body left rear
side wall.
Instruction:
Wipe over-flown fuel off in time. Or, it
may cause damage to car paint. More
care shall be taken especially for RME
fuel (acid ester).
Never run out the fuel if your car is
equipped with a catalytic converter.
That will lead to an overheating of
catalytic converter and damage.
Petrol engine
Use 93# and above unleaded petrol.
If only the petrol with an octane ration
(RON) lower than required by the
engine is available under some special
conditions, drive with a medium engine
speed and under low load. With the
accelerator throttle fully open, the
engine may be damaged due to high
load or high rotating speed. Use the
fuel meeting octane requirements as
much as possible.
For the petrol with an octane higher
Only unleaded petrol is applicable
for cars with a catalytic converter.
For a car with a catalytic
converter, using leaded petrol only
even once will cause the catalytic
converter to get severely damaged.
Never try to use the leaded petrol in
this case.
Driving overseas
When driving overseas, you shall abide
by all relevant regulations on registr
-ation and insurance. Confirm that the
country where you stay can provide
the fuel suitable for your car.
