Color marks of jumper cable ：
Anode cable: Normally red
Cathode cable: Normally black, brown
or blue
A-discharged battery
B-battery as power supply
The jumper cable shall be connected
as per following sequence:
For some car models, it is necessary to
open the fuse box cover to connect the
jumper cable to the battery anode pole
(+).
1. One end of the anode cable (+) is
connected to the anode terminal (+) of
the battery A.
2. The other end of the anode cable
shall be connected to the anode
terminal (+) of the battery B.
3. One end of the cathode cable (-)
shall be connected to the cathode
terminal (-) of the battery B.
4. The other end of the cathode cable

block or a metal part firmly attached to
it. The cathode cable shall be kept as
much far away from the discharged
battery as possible.

supply shall be kept running.

contact of electrode clamps. This is
the case especially when the electrode
