○ Undersomedrivingcircumstances,
when driving through water or
under heavy rain or after the car
washing, the braking function may
be lagged due to moisture or
freezing of brake shoe and friction
plate in winter. In this situation, you
need to apply the brake several
times in advance to dry the brake.
○ If the brake is not applied in a
long time when driving on roads
covered with salts (for melting ice
and snow), the braking function will
also be lagged. Therefore, firstly
remove salt on the brake shoe and
friction plate before applying the
brake.
Brake overheating
○ If it is not necessary to apply the
brake, do not slightly depress the
braking pedal to make it "slide". That
will result in an overheating of
brake and a long braking distance
and expedite its wear.
○ When beginning to drive down
-hill, slow down and shift to a
lower gear (for the models with
manual transmission) or select a
lower driving level (for models with
automatic
transmission). Taking
such measures will help utilize the
engine braking and reduce the load
of brake.
○ The addition of devices as spoiler
and wheel trimming plate should
not affect the air flowing into front
and rear brakes. Or, it may lead to
an overheating of brake.
Brake booster
○ Only in a vacuum condition can
the brake booster work. When the
engine runs, vacuum will be
formed. Therefore, never slide
your car when the engine is off.
○ When your car is being towed
or when damaged, the brake
booster will not work. You will
have to apply a higher force to the
brake pedal to compensate the
brake boost.
