To check an optoisolator:
1. With the system power on, remove the electronics enclosure cover panel so you
can see the optoisolators.
2. Turn on the digital input device that the system is not detecting correctly, and
check the indicator light on the corresponding optoisolator (as listed in "Input
Optoisolators" on page 7-14). If the light is not on, either the input is
malfunctioning or the optoisolator has failed.
To replace an optoisolator:
1. Turn off all system power.
2. Unscrew the faulty optoisolator and carefully remove it from the circuit board.
3. Install the new optoisolator and screw it in place.
