the vehicle is moving as there
will not be any power assist for
brakes or steering.

• The keyless access transmitter
must be inside the vehicle.
Speed Sensitive Power
Steering (SSPS)
• The SSPS system varies the
driver effort required to steer as
the vehicle speed changes.
• At low speeds the system
provides maximum assistance
for easy turning and parking.
• At higher speeds the assistance
is reduced to provide firmer
steering and directional stability.
• If
illuminates, the effort
required to steer will increase.

Loading the vehicle
Loading the vehicle changes
handling when driving. See Vehicle
weight on page 245.
Loose articles
Do not leave loose articles
or luggage in the passenger
compartment. Secure in the rear
load area.
Warning
Portable gas cylinders can
leak, creating a risk of fire or
explosion.
As a precaution, ensure
adequate ventilation when
carrying gas cylinders.
They must be restrained from
rolling around and where
possible, placed in the rear load
area of the vehicle.
It is recommended that if
gas cylinders are frequently
transported that a purpose-built
carrying compartment be used.
Ensure any transportation of
gas cylinders complies with the
applicable regulations.
