182 Driving and operating

Refuelling

Fill the fuel tank at the intermediate

or fast fill rate.
Do not add any more fuel after the

fuel filler first clicks off as fuel blows

back. This allows room for the fuel to

expand inside the tank.
Spilt fuel on the vehicle’s exterior

surfaces can damage the paint.

Wash it off as soon as possible.

Tank capacity

See Capacities on page 246.

Fuel cap

1. Remove the cap slowly rotating

anticlockwise.

Caution

If the cap is opened rapidly while

pressure in the tank is high, fuel

may spray out from the tank.

Rotate it slightly to release the

pressure from inside the tank.

Note

Store the fuel cap on the inside of

the fuel filler door while refuelling.

Fuel filler door

2. Press

on the keyless access

transmitter.

3. Open the fuel filler door by hand.
