Air conditioning
1. Turn the ignition control knob to
the start position.
2. Set the fan speed (F) to
1
,
2
,
3
or
4
.
3. Rotate the air temperature
selector (L) to warm or cool air.
4. Press
A/C
(O) to switch the air
conditioning on.
The light on the button
illuminates.
5. Press
A/C
(O) again to switch
the air conditioning off.
Note
•
Switch the air conditioning on
for a few minutes at least once
a week to lubricate the system,
even in winter.
• Driving in stop-and-go traffic may
reduce the effectiveness of the
air conditioning system.
• Keep the area under the front
seats clear of objects to help air
circulate through the vehicle.
Windscreen demister
To demist the front windscreen
quickly:
1. Rotate the air outlet selector (P)
to
V
.
2. Rotate the air temperature
selector (L) to warm.
3. Rotate the fan speed selector (F)
to the maximum speed.
Note
• Windscreen demister mode will
operate with the air conditioning
on or off.
• Do not use the demisting mode
in extremely humid weather with
the temperature control set to
cold.
Recirculation
Recirculate air within the passenger
compartment to keep dust and
odours out or when quick heating or
cooling is required.
• Press
(N) to switch
recirculation on or off.
The light on the button
illuminates when on.
• Switch recirculation off to allow
outside air into the vehicle.
Note
Do not use recirculation for an
extended period of time. The
windows may fog up.
