Operation

ABS operation is noticeable by

pulsing of the brake pedal and the

noise of the regulation process.
The initial self-check may also be

audible.
Keep the brake pedal fully pressed

throughout the braking process,

without pumping it. Pumping the

brake pedal can reduce brake

efficiency.

Caution

When the ignition is turned on,

the

is illuminated for a few

seconds.
If

does not extinguish, or

illuminates when driving, a

malfunction has occurred.

Note

The vehicle’s brake system

remains operational, but without

ABS assistance. Have a Holden

Dealer check the system as soon

as possible.

Brake pedal

Where possible, avoid braking hard.
Smooth operation of the brake pedal

will increase the life of the brakes

and reduce wear.
If the brakes do not operate

normally, contact a Holden Dealer.

Electric Park Brake (EPB)

The vehicle has an Electric Park

Brake (EPB).

Warning

Driving while

is on may cause

injury to yourself and others.

Have the brake system checked

immediately if this occurs.

• The EPB can be activated when

the ignition is on or off.

• The switch is located in the

centre console.

• When the ignition control knob

is turned to the on position,

illuminates.

• If does not come on or flashes:
Stop the vehicle as soon as

possible and contact a Holden

Dealer immediately.

• Do not operate the switch

repeatedly when the engine is

off, to avoid draining the battery.
