Warning
For safety, always check that the
lock is operating correctly (after
setting) by trying to open the door
from inside the vehicle.
Tailgate
Danger
It can be very dangerous to drive
with the tailgate open. Carbon
monoxide (CO) gas can enter
into the vehicle. You can not
see or smell CO. It can cause
unconsciousness and even death.
If you must drive with the tailgate
open, make sure all other
windows are closed and switch
the fan on to the highest speed
using any setting that brings in
outside air. Doing this will force
outside air into the vehicle.
To lock:
• Close the tailgate by pushing
down until it latches securely.
• Press
Q
to lock all the doors and
the tailgate.
To unlock:
• Press
K
to unlock all the doors
and the tailgate.
To open:
• Push the button above the
number plate and lift the tailgate.
Note
illuminates when the tailgate is
open or unlatched.
