Fuel gauge
The fuel gauge (B), shows the level
of fuel in the fuel tank when the
ignition control knob is turned to the
on position. See Fuel on page 179
and Capacities on page 246.

Note
• The arrow on the fuel gauge
symbol indicates the side of the
vehicle the fuel door is on.
• Do not let the tank run empty as
this may cause damage to the
catalytic converter.
• If diesel engines run dry, the fuel
system must be bled. See Diesel
fuel filter on page 208.
Speedometer
The speedometer (C), shows vehicle
speed in kilometres per hour (km/h).
Odometer and tripmeter
The odometer records the distance
travelled since the vehicle was built.
The tripmeter records the distance
travelled on a journey.
• Two different trips (TRIP A and
TRIP B) can be recorded at the
same time.
• The reset button is located at
the lower left position of the
speedometer.
• To change the display between,
TRIP A and TRIP B, turn the
ignition control knob to the on
position and push the tripmeter
reset button.
Press and hold to reset to zero.
