1-1-1 Purpose of Chapter 1
This chapter describes important issues related to safely servicing the
Voluson™ P8 / Voluson™ P6
and/or
Voluson™ P8 / Voluson™ P6
ultrasound system. The service provider must read and
understand all the information presented in this manual before installing or servicing a unit.

This Service Manual provides installation and service information for Voluson™ P8 / Voluson™ P6
Ultrasound Scanning System and contains the following chapters:

Contains a content summary and warnings.

Contains pre-installation requirements.

Contains setup and installation procedures.
