Park vehicle on a level surface. Engage park brake. 

Hold the bolts (item 1) using 5/8" socket and remove the
nuts (item 2) using 5/8" wrench (Ref Fig. 5 on page C-3).
Remove the washers (item 3). Use additional persons
help to remove the front brush guard (item 4) carefully
from the vehicle.

Installation of front brush guard is the reverse of disas-
sembly using new lock nuts.

Tighten the hardware per torque specification table given
below.

Park vehicle on a level surface. Engage park brake.
Raise the cowl and latch it (Ref Fig. 6 on page C-3). Hold
the nuts (item 1) using 9/16" open end wrench, and
remove the bolts (item 2) using Torx bit screwdriver.
Remove the front valance (item 3).

Installation of front valance is the reverse of disassembly
using new lock nuts.
