Repair and Service Manual

Read all of Section B and this section before attempting any procedure. Pay particular attention to all Notes, Cautions and Warnings

Remove the seat bottom (Ref Seat Bottom Replacement
section in BODY AND TRUCK BED). Remove seat back
assembly and seat crossmember (Ref Seat Back
Replacement section in BODY AND TRUCK BED).
Remove the engine (Ref ENGINE REMOVAL/INSTAL-
LATION section on page H-7). Remove the transmission
(Ref TRANSMISSION REPLACEMENT section on page
H-13). Remove the engine sub frame (Ref ENGINE SUB
FRAME REPLACEMENT section on page H-15).

Hold the bolts (item 1) using 1/2" socket and remove the
nuts (item 2) using 1/2" wrench (Ref Fig. 25 on page H-
17). Remove the isolation mount (item 3) from the main
frame (item 4).

Installation of the isolation mount is the reverse of disas-
sembly using new lock nuts.

Tighten the hardware per torque specification table given
below.
