The Tolerance Entry Mode parameter allows the user to select how the Over and Under
tolerance values on the 4200 are entered, and how the bargraph display operates. The
first letter of the option denotes the entry mode. The three entry modes (as explained in
Section 5) are SET, PTT, and DIS. The remaining letters or numbers denote the bargraph
operation mode. These modes (also explained in Section 5) are 4200 Emulate, Value per
Bar, Scaled, and Modified Value per Bar.
The OVER and UNDER buttons can be disabled using the DIS mode if they are not to be
used, or if it is desired to preset tolerances and secure them from tampering by the scale
operator.
NOTE : It is not recommended that the scaled bargraph settings (SS,PS,dS) be used for
"Legal for Trade" applications.
