6 Alarms and Troubleshooting

WARNING

Set alarm levels appropriately before starting ventilation

(manual or mechanical).

If an alarm occurs, safeguard the patient first before

performing troubleshooting or doing repair procedures.

Do not use malfunctioning equipment. Contact a

Datex-Ohmeda trained representative for service.

No repair should ever be attempted by anyone not having

experience in the repair of devices of this nature. See the

“Repair policy”

in the
