Changing Parameter Values Using Scripts

The
Executing script...
status message, indicating that processing
is taking place.

The
Script execution complete
message, indicating that the process
has taken place without errors.

Error messages. If the script you are executing contains port
parameters that are not applicable for the Annex you selected,
if you enter integers or an IP address in an incorrect format,
or if processing times out, the message box informs you about
error conditions. For more information, see Identifying Errors
on page 14-18.
Using Push Buttons
Execute Script
provides the following push buttons:

activates the execution process. When you use this
button, the message box displays status and error messages
and Annex Manager applies the eligible values in your script
to the Annexes you selected.
If the script you selected contains wildcard indicators, the
Script
Port Entry
window appears. The
Confirmation
window follows. You
need to complete this window before you can execute the
script.
The
Reset Parameters
window appears if the parameters changed
by the script require Annex Manager to reset Annexes, and if
you selected the
Confirm Auto Reset
option in the pull-down menu.

displays the standard
File Selection
window, which
includes the default text directory. You can enter a file name in
the
Selection
field and press to store the contents of the
Execute Script
window’s message box, or press to
return to the
Execute Script
window.

displays a window that explains the
Execute Script
command.
❑
removes the
Execute Script
window from your display.
