The DHCP fields are optional and may be 0.0.0.0. When
enabled, the client broadcasts DHCP messages.

Broadcast On and OFF determine whether or not an Annex
broadcasts for a DHCP server if the preferred DHCP servers
are not available.

The button activates the ACP security server.
The
Nameserver
box defines a type of name service and host addresses:

Preferred Service
defines the type of name service used with the
Nameserver
box’s
Preferred Host
field. You can select
none

ien_116.

Alternate Service
defines the type of name service used with the
Nameserver
box’s
Alternate Host
field. The Annex uses this service
and host when the service specified in the
Preferred Service
field
is not available.You can select

contains a host address for the
Preferred Service
you
selected.

Alternate Host
contains a host address for the
Alternate Service

selected.
The
Time
box controls the time server host:

Host
lists the IP address that an Annex queries for time service.
You can enter:

A loopback address (127.0.0.1) to disable time service
queries.

A host address to send queries to a specific host.
❑
A broadcast address to send queries to a specific network or
networks instead of sending a general broadcast to all
networks.

0.0.0.0 to direct the Annex to query the boot host.
The
Logging
box specifies a log host for the Annexes you selected:

Host
contains an IP address for the host that logs Annex
messages. If you enter
0.0.0.0
, the Annex broadcasts its log
messages.

box lists the options you can use on the Annexes you
