11.6.1 Transferring a Configuration
You can copy some configurations of one TD60 to another TD60 via the MPAN function-
ality.
The following takes the example of transferring the configurations from TD60 A to TD60
B.
To transfer the configuration from the TD60 A to TD60 B:
1. In the Maintenance menu of TD60 B, select Defaults
→
Import Device Settings
to enter the settings import mode.
2. In the Maintenance menu of the TD60 A, select Defaults
→
Export Device Set-
tings to enter the Export Device Settings menu.
The external device (TD60 B in this example) found is listed in the Export Device
Settings menu.
3. Select the desired external device (TD60 B in this example) by tapping the check
box.
4. Tap Export to start exporting the TD60A’s configurations.
The “Downloading device settings” message will be shortly displayed on the TD60 B’s
screen.

If an import is successful, the “Download complete.” message will be displayed on
the TD60 B’s screen. The screen returns to the
Defaults menu in 10 seconds. The
“Complete” message will be displayed on the TD60 A’s screen.
■ If the import fails, the “Import attempt failed.” message will be displayed on the
TD60 B’s screen. The “Failure” message will be displayed in the prompt message
list of TD60 A’s screen.
You have two options when a failure occurs:

To stop the import from TD60 A, tap at TD60 B to exit the Import Device
Settings .

To retry the import from the TD60 A, tap the external devices where the
“
Failure ” message is displayed and tap the Retry button to restart the trans-
fer.
You may need to repeat the retry operation several times until the transfer is suc-
cessful.
WARNING
•
Do not power off the devices during the download process.
•
The symbol displays at the top of the screen while transferring a
configuration.
