Manually Selecting Peaks for the Fragment List
The system provides the option of manually selecting peaks to be added to a fragment
list, or clearing the fragment list completely and building a new one “from scratch”.
To access this function, right-click within the fragment list and select the
Manually
Select Peak
command from the menu displayed. When selected, the system asks if
you want to clear the existing fragment list. Select
No
if you want to keep the list but
add or remove peaks from it. Select
Yes
if you want to discard the system-generated
list and start over.
Export Fragment List to CSV File
The fragment list can be exported to other 3rd party spreadsheet programs. To export
the fragment list, right-click on the highlighted sample(s) from any of the data or
fragment lists and select the
Export to CSV File
command from the menu
displayed. When selected, the Export window will be displayed where you will select
a name and location to save the file. See the Export section of this manual or the
Online Help for more information regarding data export.
Show Stacked Graph
The Stacked Graph function aligns individual selected traces by size or time. Zooming
and scrolling on the x-axis is synchronous between all plots selected while the y-axis
of each plot selected is independently scaled, based on the available data.
To access this function, right-click on the highlighted sample(s) from the fragment list
and select the
Show Stacked Graph
command from the menu displayed.
Including, Excluding & Resetting Peaks in the Fragment List
Peaks may be individually included or excluded from the existing fragment list. To
include or exclude a peak in the fragment list, right-click on the highlighted
fragment(s) and select the
Include Peak
or
Exclude Peak
command from the
menu displayed. A stacked view of the data will be displayed and the peaks to be
included or excluded can be selected from the displayed trace. Left-click on the peak
of interest to select it. Right-click to display the peak menu.
Select the Show Excluded Fragments command to display all fragments that have been
excluded from the fragment list. Peaks that have been modified in the fragment list
may be reset to their original configuration through the
Reset Peak
command
available in the right-click menu.
Single Sample View
The
Single Sample View
displays all of the available information for an individual
data sample, including the collected trace views, fragment data, separation and
analysis parameters, the calibration curve, etc. Peaks can be added, removed, included
or excluded from the fragment data and list in the Single Sample View. Refer to the
previous section on
Viewing Trace Data
or the Online Help for more information.
