Menu Bar Options
The menu bar has the options shown in Figure 55. Tables 52 through 59 provide
descriptions of the menu options.

File Menu

Item Description
New Study Used to start a new Study from either raw data or
analyzed results.
Open Study Used to open an existing Study.
Close Study Closes the active Study
Manage
Studies Opens the Study Manager to view and select all Studies
saved to the database.
Save Study Used to save the new or edited Study.
Save Study As Used to save the current Study with a new name.
Add Raw Data
to Study Used to select additional data (raw data) to be added to
the Study.
Add Result
Data to Study Used to select additional data (previously analyzed result
data) to be added to the Study.
Export Results Used to export data in one of the following formats:
• Text (Tab Delimited) (*.txt)
• CEQ format (*.cq)
• CRV (*.CRV)
Export
Fragments /
Genotypes Used to export the fragment / genotype data.
• CSV (Comma Delimited) (*.csv)
• Linkage (Pedin)(*.pre)
• Discovery Manager (DMPopulation)(*.txt)
• Genotype Summary Report (Tab Delimited)(*.gsr)
