The three main sections ("Phase CT scaling", "Residual I01 CT scaling" and "Residual I02 CT scaling")
determine the ratio of the used transformers. Additionally, the nominal values are also determined in
the
Transformers
submenu. Sometimes a mistake in the wiring can cause the polarity to be changed; in
such cases, you can invert the polarity of each phase current individually. The
Transformers
submenu
also displays additional information such as CT scaling factors and per-unit values. Depending on the
device type, the submenu may also include voltage transformer scaling and other similar
measurements. Some IEDs (e.g. AQ-S214) do not necessarily have current or voltage transformers at
all.
Frequency
Figure. 4.6. - 22. Frequency submenu.
Frequency measurements use the xed sampling mode as the default, and "System nominal
frequency" should be set to the desired level. When "Sampling mode" is set to "Tracking", the device
uses the measured frequency value as the system nominal frequency. There are three reference
measuring points; the order of the reference points can be changed.
