Not Ready Symptoms

Troubleshooting and Maintenance Guide

Flow Never Becomes Ready

If the gas flow never becomes ready, check for the following:

•

Check the supply gas for sufficient delivery pressure.

•

Check the restrictors installed in the Aux EPC module. See
Restrictors in the Advanced User Guide.

•

Check the configured gas type. The configured gas type must
match the actual gas plumbed to the GC.

•

Check for leaks in the gas delivery plumbing and the
capillary column system from the inlet to the GC/MSD
transfer line. (See

Chapter 8

, “Checking for Leaks”.)
