Mounting video and documentation accessories
You can connect the accessories for co-observation or video documentation
to the system. The following connection options are available:
Connection via VOL 442/802 video objective lenses (see page 71)
•
Mount the camera block on the video objective lens.
•
Mount the video objective lens and the binocular tube on the microscope.
•
Mount the accessories on the video objective lens.
Connection via a beam splitter and a C-Mount adapter (see page 74)
•
Mount the beam splitter and the C-Mount adapter.
WARNING
Risk of injury caused by accessories falling down!
•
Never mount or remove any accessories during surgery.
•
Before every use and after re-equipping the system, make sure that the
accessory components are securely locked into position.
•
Make sure that all securing screws are firmly tightened!
CAUTION
Risk of tilting caused by excessive load on the surgical microscope!
Mounting and removing accessory components may cause unintended tilting
of the surgical microscope.
•
Never exceed the maximum permissible weight capacity of the suspen-
sion arm (see page 142).
