During the initialization phase the
Stage/Focus not
calibrated window
(Fig. 46) might appear
depending on the settings of the microscope. You
can either skip the calibration by pressing the
Skip
calibration
button or perform the calibration by
pressing the
Calibrate Now
button.
We recommend calibrating the stage after
start of the instrument. This will perform a
homing in X, Y and Z so that the stage
operates with absolute positions. You can
perform calibration also later by pressing the
Calibration
Home X/Y/Z
button of the
Stage
LLS
tool tab (Fig. 49).
We recommend having no sample on the
stage and the transmitted light arm in the
upper position as the stage will travel a long
distance at high speed. This will prevent a shift
of the sample, a tear off the immersion and
any potential collision with the lid of the stage
top incubation.
Stopping the Software
To stop the software, select
Exit
in the
File
menu or
press the
Close
button
of the ZEN Software
window.
