The Humidifying Column (Fig. 23) provides a water reservoir to humidify the mixed gas. Part of the mixed gas
output is guided through the column. The water inside the column is warmed up for humidity uptake.
The Humidifying Column base heats up to 50°C/122°F when in operation, which is indicated by
the warning label attached to the base of the column (Fig. 23/6).

The base will be heated as long as the gas mixer is switched on independent on any
software settings.

It is recommended to place the Humidifying column besides but not on top of the
controllers.

The Humidifying column should not be placed on surfaces that might be deformed or even
melt by heat.
