Supplementing Liquid to the Liquid Cooling System
Lack of coolant has the effect of reduced cooling
capacity. There will be a warning sound, when the
liquid level becomes too low. Low liquid levels can be
caused either by evaporation or by leakage. To fill to
the required level, proceed as follows:
1.
Disconnect the system from the power supply.
2.
Close the vent valve (Fig. 18/9) (right stop) with a
hexagon screwdriver SW 6.
3.
Open the filling / refilling port (Fig. 18/8) with a
hexagon screwdriver SW8.
4.
Fill the cooling unit with innovate Protect
coolant, if the liquid loss was due to leakage,
until the liquid is visible on the thread of the filler
neck. If no leakage is obvious and the liquid los
was due to evaporation, fill with distilled water.
5.
Open the vent valve (Fig. 18/9) (left stop).
6.
Close the filling / refilling port Fig. 18/8).
7.
Connect the system to the power supply.
When handling the liquid please wear protective eye-ware and gloves.
Read the operating manual of the liquid cooling system carefully.
Note that the liquid cooling system is connected via its ground plug to the laser module of the
Lattice Lightsheet 7 by a red cable to equalize potential differences.
