Ergo pointer
The Ergo pointer can be used to control the stage
remotely (Fig. 31). It can move the stage in X
(Fig. 31/

connected via its USB port (Fig. 31/

Stage
The stage is calibrated with the stage top incubator lid mounted. In case the lid is not mounted, stage travel
can become inaccurate at extreme travel ranges.
For more information on calibrating the stage read the instruction manual of the stage.
In case the lid is not mounted, light can escape to the right side of the system. This light is eye-safe. To
prevent the light from escaping, always scan with the lid mounted or mount a shield on the right-hand side
of the instrument. Alternatively place the system close to a wall at its right side.
