If pulse gaps are detected when the vehicle is traveling at a speed of 30 km/h (19 mph) or more, fault
code No. 18 will be recorded. If the vehicle is traveling at a speed of 29 km/h (18 mph) or less, fault
code No. 46 will be recorded first and fault code No. 18 will be recorded if the condition continues.

Defective sensor rotor or incorrect in-
stallation of the rotor
Check the surface of the sensor rotor for damage.
Replace the sensor rotor if there is visible damage.
Refer to “MAINTENANCE OF THE REAR WHEEL
SENSOR ROTOR (for YP125RA)” on page 4-29.

Defective rear wheel sensor or incor-
rect installation of the sensor
Check the wheel sensor for damage and the in-
stalled condition of the sensor. Repair or replace
the wheel sensor if necessary.

• Check the coupler for any pins that may be pulled
out.
• Check the locking condition of the coupler.
• If there is a malfunction, repair it and connect the
coupler securely.
