Handset Reset
You can reset any individual settings that you have made on the handset. Resetting
your handset will not affect the entries of the directory, the call history, the voice mail
and the handset’s registration to the base station. But you need to note that other
customized settings on the handset will be reset to factory settings after resetting. We
recommend that you ask your system administrator for advice before resetting your
handset.
To reset the handset:
1.
Press to enter the main menu.
2.
Select ->
System Settings
->
Handset Reset
.
The LCD screen prompts the warning “Reset handset to default?”.
3.
Press the

soft key to reset the handset or the
No
soft key to cancel.

You can reset the base station to factory settings. This will clear all individual settings of
the base station, entries of the directory and active SIP registrations. All registered
handsets are de-registered. You need to re-register your handset to use. We
recommend that you ask your system administrator for advice before resetting your
base station.
To reset the handset:
1.
Press to enter the main menu.
2.
Select ->
System Settings
->
Base Reset
.
3.
Enter the system PIN (default: 0000).
4.
Press the
Done
soft key.
The base station is reset to factory settings successfully. The power indicator LED on
the base station slow flashes when the base station is during the resetting process.

Auto Provision
You can trigger the auto provisioning process using the VoIP wizard. After you enter the
username and password in the wizard and confirm to perform an update, the base
station tries to connect to the RPS server. If the base station successfully connects to the
RPS server, the RPS server responds the base station with the URL for downloading the
configuration files. Then the base station tries to perform the auto provisioning process.
Contact your system administrator for more information on the username and password
for connecting to the RPS server.
