Note: The rear panel Audio Out jack is disabled when the front panel Audio Out jack is used. This allows a
speaker to be permanently plugged into the rear jack while headphones are used in the front jack for
private review of audio.)
1. Access the Record List screen to define which cameras will be recorded as follows. Press
MENU
to exit
the menu system, if applicable.
2. Press
RECORD
to display the Record List Selection screen shown below.

1-16 to add or remove a
camera from the list.
A * means in the list.

3. Use the 1-16 keys to define which cameras will be recorded. An asterisk indicates that the camera is
included in the record list. Cameras without an asterisk in this list will not be recorded. Cameras in the
record list will be recorded one after another in ascending camera number order, unless you define
another method using the Modify Camera Sequence screen, discussed in the Programming chapter.
Playing Back Video & Audio
To play back:
Press
PLAY
to play back video from the disk (hard disk, floppy or CD) selected in the Select Source field of the
Playback Control screen (refer to the Programming chapter for more information). This will also play back
audio on the CD or hard disk, if enabled during programming and connected properly to the AurorAcorD.
Audio is not available from floppy disk.

You may view video during playback in multi-picture display formats, full screen and during sequencing. You
may also use digital pan, tilt and zoom and may freeze/restore video during playback.
To pause:
During playback, press
PLAY
to pause. Press
PLAY
again to resume playback.
For jog and shuttle operations:
ENTER
ENTER
In Playback or Pause Mode:
Use the shuttle ring to move forward
and reverse. Twist the ring faster or
slower to control the speed.
In Playback Mode only:
Use the shuttle lock feature to set a
fixed rate for playback by adjusting
the speed to the desired rate and
then pressing . Press
again to resume normal playback
speed.

In Pause mode:
Use the jog feature to
advance frame by frame
through the video.
The Jog/Shuttle Control is located on the
right side of the AurorAcorD front panel.
