Freezing and Restoring Video Images

FREEZE
key. The first press of the
FREEZE
key freezes all windows in multi-
picture displays. Enter 1-16 to indicate the window number to restore video or press
FREEZE
again to restore all
windows. The Freeze LED will blink and the screen grid will pulsate as indicators that your video is in freeze
mode. Freezing multi-picture display windows of the same camera lets you freeze one window while keeping
the other active or view windows of the same camera video that were frozen at different times.
Controlling Mechanical Pan, Tilt, Zoom Functions
Using mechanical pan/tilt/zoom (MPTZ), an operator can use a receiver to control the zoom in/out functions
of the camera lens and to control the pan/tilt of the pan-and-tilt drive. You may view outside the original scene
by panning or tilting, unlike digital pan, tilt, zoom. Other functions are available in MPTZ, such as recalling and
storing presets. This convenient function allows you to return to a pre-defined pan-and-tilt position (and
zoom/focus settings, if the camera includes a motorized zoom lens). The pan-and-tilt drive and lens must be
equipped with preset potentiometers in order to use preset functions. Use the table below to store (define) a
preset and to recall (run) a preset.
Note: Mechanical PTZ is available on either the main display or spot monitors. If Digital Zoom Update is set to
Frame, then the maximum digital zoom is 16x. If set to Field, the maximum is 8x.
