6. Define which cameras will be recorded by enabling those cameras. Cameras that you do not want
recorded should be disabled.
7. Return to the Schedule Setup screen and access the Schedule Alarm Contacts screen.
8. Enable or disable each of the 16 alarm devices connected to the 37-pin connector using this screen.
9. Return to the Schedule Setup screen and access the Schedule Receiver Alarms screen.
10. Enable or disable each of the 16 receiver alarms.
11. Return to the Schedule Setup screen and access the Schedule Motion Processing screen.
12. Define the action to take place when motion is detected on each camera: Higher Update, which increases
the update rate, Alarm, which activates an alarm, Higher Alarm, which increases the update
rate and activates an alarm or Disabled.
13. Repeat this procedure to define the remaining schedules.
For example, to define schedule 1 to run on the next Monday (not every Monday) at 2:15 a.m., with all
receiver alarms enabled, alarm contacts disabled, motion processing set to Higher Update for cameras 1-4
and video from cameras 1-4 to be recorded, you would first select Schedule 1 Setup from the Schedule Setup
screen. Then you would use key “1” to define a “1” in the first position of the One-Time/Days field and the “3”
key to define “M” for Monday. Set “2” for the Hour and “15” for Minutes. On the Sched 1 Record List, enable
cameras 1-4 and disable the rest. On the Sched 1 Alarm Contacts screen, you would disable all contacts. On
the Sched 1 Rcvr Alarms screen, you would enable all alarms. To define motion processing, you would set
cameras 1-4 to Higher Update. This schedule would initiate all of these actions on the next Monday at 2:15
a.m. These actions would overwrite any motion processing, receiver alarm, alarm contact and record list
settings, which can easily be redefined as discussed in other sections of this manual.
