3. Use the Set Time Factory Defaults to set the time to that set at the factory or set the time as discussed in
the following steps. If you use the factory time, make sure that it is correct, because the occurrence of
Daylight Saving Time may have caused the factory time to be inaccurate by an hour.
4. As shown in the Set Time screen above, use the up/down arrow keys to correct the time, where the
abbreviation “HH:MM:SS” refer to hours, minutes and seconds, respectively. You must also set the
AM/PM indicator. Use the right/left arrow keys to move to the next setting and press
ENTER
when finished.
5. To set the date, use the menu path above to access the Set Date screen. Use the up/down arrow keys to
select the date format: American (month/day/year), European (dayr/month/year) or Asian
(year/month/day).
6. Then proceed to set the date using the arrow keys as described at the bottom of the screen. The day of
the week will change automatically depending upon the date that you define.
7. Press
ENTER
to return to the Time/Date Set screen and proceed to the Daylight Savings screen. Use this
screen to define that the AurorAcorD automatically set the time to reflect Daylight Saving or Standard
Time by selecting Yes for Auto DST Adjust. Then set the DST settings to reflect when Daylight Saving
should start and stop, referring to a calendar if necessary. If you select No, you do not need to define
DST settings, as you will have to change the time on the AurorAcorD manually using the Set Time
screen.
8. Returning to the Time/Date Set screen, select Yes to use 24-hour mode (military time) or No to use 12-
hour mode. If you use 24-hour mode, the AM/PM selection on the Set Time screen will not be available.
