Saving Current Settings or Using Factory Defaults
From the Menu Selection screen, you may decide to use factory defaults to overwrite customized
programming selections. This manual includes a table at the end of each section that lists the factory defaults
for the onscreen settings. Instead of using factory defaults, you may also choose to use the settings that are
currently saved. To insure that you do not lose your customized settings after you make your selections,
choose
Save Current Settings
. A confirmation screen will display to verify that you want to use the defaults
before overwriting your settings.
You may save your customized settings by selecting the Save Current Settings selection. This selection is
useful if you are experiencing problems and want to make sure your recently changed settings are saved and
if you want to retain your current settings after downloading a new version of the AurorAcorD software, as
discussed in the Reference chapter.

Defining Camera Titles
Perform the following procedure to define camera titles for the first time or to change defined camera titles.
This procedure is not required if you would like to retain the default titles (the default title is Camera XX,
where “XX” refers to the camera number).
1. Before camera titles can be displayed onscreen, they must be enabled. To do so, follow the menu path
below to the Main Display Title Text screen. Set the Camera Title field to a fade time (the title will display
for the selected number of seconds and then disappear), Always On. Choose Always Off if you do not
want titles to display (you may define the camera titles and enable them at a later time).
