5.27 Power
Distribution Unit (PDU)
5.27.1 Overview
Each ArcLight Hub rack contains a Power Distribution Unit (PDU) ().
The PDU operates with 200-240 Vac, 50/60 Hz and has dual feed for
redundancy. The rear of the unit is shown in Figure 5-71, illustrating
the redundant capability of the dual input feeds. In the event of a
failure of either A or B loads, power transfer occurs in less than 20
milliseconds.

Figure 5-72 illustrates the power transfer process that occurs in the
PDU in the event of a failure of the A or B loads.
