5.7 Support
Server
5.7.1 Overview
The Support Server is used to monitor the status of the Hub equipment
usually using COTS software such as IsItUp or SNMP OpManager. The
Support server runs the APR server application, as well. The Support
server resides on a blade server installed within the ArcLight Blade
Center.
The Support Server is a blade installed within the Blade System.

5.7.2 Physical
Interfaces
5.7.2.1 Ethernet Interfaces
The Support Server’s front panel Ethernet interfaces are two RJ-45
GigE 10/100/1000 Base-T interfaces complying with the physical and
electrical characteristics of the IEEE 802.3 specifications, a COM1 port,
two USB ports, a VGA port for connection to the KVM switch display,
and a KB/MS port.
