Screen Descriptions for NMS Client

WAM Status
– this panel displays status for MCD I configurations (the
MCD II does not report chassis or WAM status and this panel is grayed
out for MCD II configurations).
WAM Health
- The LED simulation indicates the operating status of the
WAM. Green indicates no Fault, while Red indicates that the WAM is no
longer functioning and a spare WAM should be put into operation.
WAM Reads
– this field displays the total number of WAM reads.
Software Version
– This field displays the software version for the
WAM.
WAM Writes
– this field lists the total number of writes to the WAM.
Utility Card Status
– this panel displays the health status, setup, and
software version of the Utility Cards.
UC Health
– the simulated LED indicates the health of the UC card(s).
Green is operational, Red indicates a fault and the spare UC card
should be made operational.
Hotswap Ejector State
– the simulated LED indicates whether the UC
is currently in Hotswap mode (e.g., is not currently activated and is
ready for removal prior to the insertion of a new IC). Green indicates
that the UC is properly seated in the chassis, while red indicates that
the ejector switch is open and the card is ready for removal.
Pending Setup
– This indicator light displays the current configuration
state of the UC: green if it is configured, or red if it is awaiting
configuration.
Polling Enabled
– this field displays whether polling is enables. True –
yes, False – no.
Software Version
– this field displays the software version of the
primary UC card.
UC Component States
– the simulated LEDs display the health of the
various UC components. Green is functioning, Red indicates a fault.
OK button
– Closes the current screen.
