MEDIASTUDIO PRO USER GUIDE

Understanding the basics

Video Capture is designed to work in conjunction with an installed video
capture board. Video capture boards serve as the connection between an

external video source, such as a VCR, camcorder or laserdisc, and your
computer. (If you do not have a video capture board, you can still use
Video Capture to play back existing video files.) Once you have your video

source connected and playing, the video automatically appears in the Video
Capture video window. If no video is playing, or you do not have a video
capture board, the video window displays a color bar test pattern instead.
