18.10.4 Lock Tab:
“Lock” Tab
The “Lock” tab screen duplicates the Lock method and Lock Source functionality
of the Scaler’s front panel controls. Lock Source and Method are chosen from
drop down lists and Digital Lock Source can also be selected here. You can set
the pixel offset as well as the position of Keys and you can adjust the quality of
the Key by using the slider controls in the lower right portion of the screen.
The ‘Free Position/Random Position’ selection controls the position and size of
the inserted image. In the ‘Free Position’ setting, you control where the inserted
image is placed. In the ‘Random Position’ setting, the inserted image can appear
anywhere on the screen and further, it can be made to move in a random manner
in intervals you control by setting the ‘Interval (Seconds)’ slider.
Finally, by selecting one of the four choices (Free Size, 2X2, 4X4, Full Screen),
you control the size of the inserted image: either free form––controlled by you in
other words––or one of three presets.
