Press and hold button number 8 until you hear a Beep and the info message
'Added to preset' is shown. (This records the second layer of information
associated with button number 8’s preset condition).
If the brackets are still flashing, press the Menu Select knob once and observe
that the brackets are no longer flashing. Rotate the Menu Select knob one
detent to the right and you will see the following screen:

Press the Menu Select knob and the brackets will begin to flash. Rotate the knob
to the left until you see the number 25 displayed between the flashing brackets.
Press and hold button number 8 until you hear a Beep and the info message
'Added to preset' is shown. The third layer of information has now been
successfully recorded.
Adjust Scaler parameters
H/V shr. pos. % [25] 50
If the brackets are still flashing, press the Menu Select knob again and then
rotate it one detent to the right. The brackets will now surround the right hand
number and you should press the knob yet another time. The brackets will flash
and you should rotate the Menu Select knob to the left until you have the number
25 displayed between the flashing brackets.

H/V shr. pos. % 25 [25]
Press and hold button number 8 until you hear the Beep and the info message
'Added to preset' is shown . The fourth and final layer has now been successfully
recorded for button number 8.
If the brackets are still flashing, press the Menu Sect knob to make them cease.
You have now successfully set a preset condition for button number 8 that will
cause the Picture-In-Picture image to be shrunk to 30% normal size and
positioned in the top left corner of the background image.
You should now be able to press button number 8 and have a PIP image
displayed. Pressing button 1 through 7 will place any video present on those
buttons in the PIP window. When you press button number 9 the Scaler will be
restored the last saved state.
