Press the knob again and the brackets will begin to flash indicating that the
Scaler is ready to accept the new input assignment. Rotate the Menu Select
knob to the left until the number “1” appears and then select it by pressing the
knob again. The flashing will cease and the LCD display will now look like the
screen shown below, indicating that the reassignment is complete. (You may
now press input button 3 to activate the input). As always, press and hold the
Menu Select knob until you hear the “Beep” to make the change permanent.

15.1 Button Presets
You can store up to 5 preset condition and associate them with 5 different
buttons. It is also a good idea to assign another button to the Restore function.
This restore function allows the unit to be returned to it previously saved state,
thus allowing you to toggle between a preset condition and this saved state.
As an example, we will set up a picture in picture condition as a preset for button
eight (8) and make button nine (9) the restore function.
Begin at the Adjust Buttons sub menu:

Press the menu select knob to indicate to the Scaler that you want to make an
adjustment to the input assignments of one of the buttons, and then rotate the
knob clockwise until the following menu item is shown:

Press the menu knob when you reach this menu and the brackets surrounding
the number "1" will begin flashing. Turn the menu select now to the right until the
number "8" appears between the flashing brackets. When it appears, press the
menu select knob again to load the number "8" into the Scaler’s memory. The
brackets will stop flashing and the display should look like this:

Rotate then menu select knob to the right so that the brackets surround the
"input=YC2":
