18.8 Firmware Updater
“Firmware Update” Toolbar Item
Selecting the “Firmware Update” toolbar item will display the above screen.
Pressing the “Programmer” button will immediately start loading the version of
software present in the CORIO2 sub-directory on your PC. (The CORIO2
directory is where the utility resides. It can be found as a sub-directory under the
Program Files directory on your “C” drive). Unless you have updated the files
that reside there with the newest firmware version, you may actually go
backwards in revision version.
To download the latest version of the C2-5100 or C2-5200’s firmware, go to the
support website located at
tvone.crmhelpdesk.com . Once there, you’ll answer
a few questions and become eligible to download firmware. Place the firmware
revision in the CORIO2 subdirectory of your PC, replacing the firmware version
that is currently present. (It’s always desirable to copy the current file to another
directory before updating so that you have a backup.)
Note that once you press the “Programmer” button, it can be aborted but should
you abort the upload, the Scaler will not function properly or perhaps won’t
