Jumper settings for SCSI HDDs
To connect a hard disk drive to the SCSI chain, you must set the jumper for each drive
according to its position in the chain.

Locate and set the jumpers according to your particular configuration.
Jumper block locations and settings
The J-4 jumper settings will differ depending on whether the HDD unit has a 14 or 24 pin
connection. Refer to the diagrams and tables below for correct pin assignments
according to connector type:
NOTE: If you installed the HDD in the Hot Swap bay, you do not need to set the
following jumpers.
