Removing SCSI HDDs
To remove a SCSI hard disk drive from a 3.5-inch device bay, follow the instructions in
Removing IDE HDDs
on page 46.
To remove a SCSI hard disk drive from a 5.25-inch device bay:

Remove the bezel and side panel. For instructions, see
Removing and installing the
bezel and side panel
on page 31.

Remove the two screws that secure the SCSI drive and metal fittings, then partially
extract the SCSI drive.

Disconnect the power cable and the SCSI cable from the drive.

Remove the SCSI HDD.

Install the shield cover and secure it with screws.
