Connecting Components

Adding SCSI I/O devices

Remove the two screws securing SCSI device with metal fittings and partially extract
the SCSI device.

Disconnect the power cable and the signal cable from the device.

Remove the SCSI device.

Install the shield cover and secure it with screws.

Install a blank panel in the empty slot in the bezel.

Reinstall the bezel and side panel. For instructions, see

Removing and installing the

bezel and side panel

on page 31.

NOTE: Use only SCSI devices that Toshiba recommends. Toshiba assumes no
responsibility for devices not specifically recommended.
